THE INFLUENCE OF IMPLEMENTING DIFFERENTIATED LEARNING ON IMPROVING LEARNING OUTCOME AT CLASS VII
Abstract
This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students, the lack of activity of students in the learning process, the implementation of differentiated learning in the independent curriculum has not been implemented, and learning is still conventional in delivering material in the class VII Aqidah Akhlak subject. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of implementing differentiated learning in improving the learning outcomes of class VII students in the Aqidah Akhlak subject. This research uses a type of quantitative experimental research with a Quasi Experiment research design. The population in this study were all class VII students. Sampling in this research was carried out by purposive sampling. The samples used in this research were class VII.3 as the experimental class and class VII.5 as the control class. The results of the study showed that the increase in learning outcomes using differentiated learning was 0.49 in the medium category, and in the control class using conventional learning it was 0.32 also in the medium category, however the difference between the experimental class and the control class was visible in the average value. the average, where the experimental class average was 88.26 while the control class averaged 80.77. Then there was a significant difference in learning outcomes between the experimental class compared to the control class. Based on hypothesis testing with SPSS version 20, the sig.2 (tailed) result was 0.016. So it can be concluded that sig.(2-tailed) < 0.05, meaning 0.016 < 0.05. Thus, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is a significant difference in learning outcomes when differentiated learning is used compared to conventional learning in class VII Aqidah Moral learning.
