UTILIZATION OF THE SEVIMA EDLINK PLATFORM IN ARABIC LANGUAGE LEARNING AT UIN IMAM BONJOL PADANG

The Sevima Edlink application is an application intended to make it easier for lecturers and students in the online learning process based on the Learning Management System (LMS). This research aims to describe and identify the use of the Sevima Edlink platform in Arabic language learning at UIN Imam Bonjol Padang and the evaluation system in the Sevima Edlink application for Arabic language learning. This research uses a case study method with a descriptive-qualitative approach. The object of the research is Arabic language learning in the fifth semester of the Arabic Language Education (PBA) study program. The research results show the following: 1). The Sevima Edlink application is a management learning system (MLS) that has various online learning features such as discussions, video conferences, completing assignments, and quizzes, which play a role in improving the Arabic language learning process. 2). The evaluation used in the Sevima Edlink application can be integrated with Siakad in the form of quizzes and assignments, making the assessment process easier. 3). In learning Arabic, SEVIMA Edlink supports materials, assignments, and assessments. Apart from that, SEVIMA Edlink also supports Arabic writing in its use. This research recommends that further research be carried out on student and lecturer perceptions regarding the use of SEVIMA Edlink at UIN Imam Bonjol Padang.
