JOYFUL LEARNING IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Abstract

This research is motivated by the many previous studies which discuss fun learning at the elementary/MI level with the problem of monotonous and boring learning in the classroom, as well as educators who use one-way learning methods and have fun learning as a solution. educational references in the scientific vision of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education, Imam Bonjol University, Padang. This research aims to analyze and review the joy of learning at the elementary/middle school level. This research uses qualitative research methods with the type of research, namely library research. Data sources come from journals and theses as well as supporting data related to fun learning at the elementary/MI level. Research was conducted on 20 journals and theses taken from 2018-2023. The results of research using analysis of joy learning in learning at the elementary/MI level show an increase in the number of publications about joy learning as a main concern in 2023. The type of research most widely used in this research is: Research on joyful learning at the elementary/MI level is research class action. (PTK). The learning design that is often used in fun learning research is strategic learning design because learning methods or procedures and techniques are part of the learning strategy. Joyful learning can be applied to all subjects, especially mathematics, even though mathematics is a learning that is considered difficult and boring, applying joyful learning can make learning mathematics fun and effective. Based on the results of this research, the application of joy learning can have a positive influence on variable Y in previous research, especially in improving elementary/MI student learning outcomes..
