Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity of the questionnaire instrument for students' critical thinking skills integrated with ethnoscience in basic physics courses. The critical thinking skills assessment questionnaire instrument refers to Ennis' five critical thinking indicators. This research is a descriptive research, with the type of survey research (survey research) on students of the Tadris Fisika Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. The critical thinking skills test questionnaire is in the form of essay questions on work and energy material consisting of 35 statement items and 10 sub-indicators of critical thinking skills. The results of the expert validity of the questionnaire instrument testing the critical thinking skills of students integrated with ethnoscience show that an average percentage gain of 86% (very valid) can be used as an assessment of critical thinking skills.
