VALIDITY AND PRACTICALITY OF BLENDED LEARNING-BASED PHYSICS E-MODULES USING FACEBOOK ON STUDENTS' CONCEPT UNDERSTANDING

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to validity and practicality of physics E-module based on blended learning using Facebook on students' concept understanding. This type of research is R n D research using the Ploomp model research method. The development stages are Development of prototyping phase and Assessment Phase. One of the activities of the Development of Prototyping phase is to conduct formative evaluation. While the Assessment Phase is an activity to assess the practicality of E-module products, the subject is students. At the Development Of prototyping phase is used to assess product validity using product validity instruments, including content/material, construct and language validity assessed by experts or experts (lecturers). Research data were obtained through observation, practicality questionnaires for students and educators of SMA N 5 Padang. The assessment results show that the Blended Learning-based Physics E-Module for Students' Concept Understanding is very valid with an average score of 86.6% with a percentage of material/content feasibility of 85%, , media feasibility of 83% and language feasibility of 92%. Product practicality test with an average score of 91.7% with a percentage of 1 educator getting an average of 97% and students 86.45%. While the applicability of the Blended Learning-based Physics E-Module was assessed by 2 observers to get an average of 3.97 with a very practical category and a percentage of the student's score.
