DIGITAL LEADERSHIP: REALIZING TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION IN LEARNING AT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 21 PILUBANG, AGAM REGENCY

This study aims to explain the role of digital leadership in strengthening technology integration in primary schools so that teachers can maximise the use of technological advances in learning. The method used is a qualitative case study by collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data sources involved principals, teachers, and related scientific literature. The results found that curriculum implementation at SD Negeri 21 Pilubang, Agam Regency, faces a number of challenges, including the lack of digital knowledge and skills from principals, teachers, and education staff, as well as a lack of training. Although facilities such as the internet, computers, printers and laptops are available, only four out of nine teachers integrate technology in learning. Therefore, digital leadership is key in overcoming these obstacles through developing a clear vision, effective implementation strategies and creating a school culture that supports technology integration. School leaders must be role models in the use of technology, encourage stakeholder collaboration, and ensure the school culture is inclusive and open to change. Thus, digital leadership will be an important factor in the successful integration of technology in the curriculum at SD Negeri 21 Pilubang, Agam Regency.
