THE EXISTENCE OF CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT ON THE LEARNING OUTCOMES OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION (A Critical Review of Variable X on Variable Y)

Abstract

Based on the initial observations made by the author, the author saw a student constantly talking to his classmates during the teacher's explanation, disturbing the attention of other students and making the class difficult to focus, students are often confused by the instructions or tasks given by the teacher, Students show a lack of interest or motivation in learning Islamic Religious Education because they feel that the subject is difficult or uninteresting, there are around 20 students feeling frustrated or anxious because it is difficult to understand Islamic Religious Education material, which can hinder their engagement and performance so that they have difficulty following directions correctly and the impact on the learning outcomes received by these students. This study aims to see how much existence between classroom management and students' Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlation method. The results showed that Classroom Management is strongly related to the Islamic Religious Education Learning Outcomes of Students at SMKS 2 Kasgoro Payakumbuh, this can be seen from the Spearman Rank correlation test on the Classroom Management variable which shows Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000, and the correlation test on the Student Islamic Education Learning Outcomes variable which Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 with a Correlation Coefficient of 0.511 for each variable. It can be concluded that Classroom Management with Islamic Religious Education Learning Outcomes of Students at SMKs Kasgoro 2 Payakumbuh Exists or is related.
