THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN AL-QUR’AN TAHFIZH ACTIVITIES AND SPIRITUAL INTELLIGENCE OF STUDENTS AT SMPN 03 KOTO BARU DHARMASRAYA

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of Tahfizh Al-qur'an activity for the spiritual intelligence of students at SMPN 03 Koto Baru Dharmasraya. The research method used is quantitative research using correlational research design. The population in this study were 120 students. Sampling as many as 30 with Purposive Sampling. Data collection techniques in this study by distributing questionnaire instruments, and data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that there was a relationship between Tahfizh Al-qur'an activities on the spiritual intelligence of students at SMPN 03 Koto Baru Dharmasraya with a regression coefficient of 0.621 at the 5% significance level obtained a significance value of 0.007. The contribution of the implementation between Tahfizh Al-qur'an activities to the spiritual intelligence of students is 48.5% so that 51.5% is influenced by other factors outside Tahfizh activities
