Abstract

This research was motivated by the use of an electronic-based system launched by the Malaysian Ministry of Education in 2012, named e-SPKWS. The aim of this research is to determine the application of the e-SPKWS system in managing school finances at SABK Maahad Al-Ummah Chemor, Perak, Malaysia. The method used in this research is a qualitative method, namely research by showing what happens in the field where the research is conducted. Data collection techniques used observation and interview techniques with financial management subjects at the SABK Maahad Al-Ummah school. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the use of the e-SPKWS system at the SABK Maahad Al-Ummah Chemor school makes it easier for the school to manage school finances, store data relating to school finances. So the e-SPKWS system is one of the systems that helps the SABK Maahad Al-Ummah school in the process of managing school finances.
