THE EFFECT OF USING ACTIVE KNOWLEDGE SHARING LEARNING STRATEGIES ON INCREASING STUDENTS' INTEREST IN LEARNING

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of curiosity from students regarding the learning presented by educators, this is evidenced by the lack of student participation in asking questions during learning, the lack of internal interest of students in implementing learning, the lack of varied learning strategies and the lack of enthusiasm of students during learning as evidenced by some students who are sleepy and also doing other things. The purpose of this study was to determine the significant effect of the use of Active Knowledge Sharing Strategy on Increasing Student Learning Interest. This study uses a quantitative experimental research type with a one group pre-test post-test research design. The population in this study were all students in class VIII 3. Sampling in this study was carried out by Census/total sampling. The sample used in this study was class VIII.3 as the Experimental class. The results of the study showed that the average pre-test score in the form of a questionnaire on students' learning interests in class VIII 3 was 74.21, while the average post-test score in the form of a questionnaire on students' learning interests in class VIII 3 was 89.26. The percentage of student completion in the pre-test in the form of an initial questionnaire was 24%, while in the post-test in the form of a final questionnaire it was 29%, the increase was 5%. Based on the hypothesis test using SPSS version 29, a sig value of 0.000 was obtained, so it was concluded that (0.000 <0.05). So it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is a significant influence of the use of the Active Knowledge Sharing strategy on Increasing Students' Learning Interest.
