Abstract

Character education is an essential aspect of the national education system, which aims to form a generation with noble character and national insight. Pancasila Education courses have a strategic role in instilling the basic values of the Indonesian nation. However, conventional approaches to teaching are often ineffective in internalising these values. This article discusses the implementation of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) Learning Model in the Pancasila Education course to shape student character. Through qualitative methodology with a case study approach, this research found that VCT can improve students' understanding and application of Pancasila values. The discussion includes an analysis of the effectiveness of VCT in shaping student character as well as recommendations for the development of more innovative and participatory learning models.
