Students of Arabic Language Education at UIN Imam Bonjol will serve as a model for students who are skilled in the Arabic language; thus, it is important for Islamic universities to create an effective language environment. The purpose of the research is to describe the language environment specifically within the faculty, its role, opportunities, and challenges in creating a language environment. This field research is a qualitative descriptive study using instruments such as interviews, observations, and documentation. The data sources are lecturers and students of PBA. The data analysis technique follows the steps of Huberman and Miles. The research results indicate that the linguistic environment among PBA students includes both formal and informal environments. Although it is not yet complete, this environment has played a role in motivating students to practice their language skills and to become accustomed to actively using Arabic, even on a limited scale and capacity. Linguistic immersion has provided an opportunity to accelerate students' acquisition of the Arabic language. Commitment, desire, and enthusiasm have driven students to communicate using the Arabic language. The challenges are still limited in terms of human resources and student recruitment systems, facilities, and regulations.
Neli Putri, Ilya Husna, Amelia Amelia, Rania Gustani (Author)

https://ibicie.uinib.ac.id/index.php/ibicie/article/view/201

The research aims to find out how teachers prepare to implement it and what are the obstacles in differentiated learning in Social Sciences subjects. This research uses a case study type of research through interviews, observation and documentation. The data sources for this research are primary sources, namely Social Sciences subject teachers, and students. Meanwhile, secondary resources are books, journals and relevant research. The analysis used is data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research were found in the implementation of differentiated learning in Social Sciences subjects. First, teachers' readiness for differentiated learning means that teachers at Ar Risale Islamic College Middle School are not yet ready to implement differentiated learning well because diagnostic assessments were not found in the document study, but several teachers have carried out mapping based on high, middle and low diagnostic test abilities. Second, the implementation of differentiated learning by Ar Risale Islamic Middle School teachers has not been optimal in implementing differentiated learning because teachers sometimes still do not meet the needs of students optimally. Third, obstacles were found in differentiated learning, namely limited resources in implementing differentiated learning which required quite a long time considering the adjustment to students' learning needs. Then the obstacle for educators is that they have not been able to implement content and product differentiated learning strategies where teachers still equate all the material to be studied which has high, middle and low grades. And the obstacle for students is the lack of concentration of students when learning takes place because some students talk to other groups.
Welli Purnama, Rilci Kurnia Illahi (Author)

https://ibicie.uinib.ac.id/index.php/ibicie/article/view/180

This study is motivated by the low learning independence of students in Islamic religious education subjects and class VII ethics. There are several factors that make students not yet have learning independence, namely the absence of self-awareness of the importance of education and making good use of time, the influence of friends who are lazy to learn, and the influence of families who pay less attention to children's behavior in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of individual learning strategies in increasing students' learning independence in Islamic religious education and ethics subjects in class VII. This type of research is a quasi experiment with a pre test-post test control group design. The population in this study were all seventh grade students in the 2023/2024 academic year with a total of 105 people, while the samples were class VII A as the experimental class and VII B as the control class. The data collection method was done with a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is prerequisite analysis and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the average learning independence before applying the individual learning strategy was 64 and the average learning independence after applying the individual learning strategy was 71. Based on hypothesis testing with SPSS version 29, sig α < 0.05 is obtained, namely 0.03, which means 0.03 < 0.05, Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected and T count > T table, namely 2.204 > 2.004, which means Ha which says there is an effect of individual learning strategies in increasing the learning independence of students in Islamic religious education and ethics class VII.
Ica Ramandha Ray, Misra Misra, Rilci Kurnia Illahi (Author)

This research aims to examine the process of Islamization of knowledge in the Islamic education system in Southeast Asia, with a focus on how the concept of Islamization developed by M. Naquib al-Attas can be applied in various political contexts. (Muh. Hanif ,” De-Westernisation of Islamic Education Perspective Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas”, International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Analysis. June 2023). Using a qualitative approach through literature study methods, this research analyzes literature related to Islamic education policies in countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.( Adib Rifqi Setiawan 2020 ΛIS | Islamic Education in Southeast Asia OSF). The research results show that efforts to Islamize science face significant challenges, especially due to the complex interactions between local and global politics. Local politics often play a role in shaping Islamic education curricula, which can strengthen or hinder this process of Islamization. Meanwhile, the influence of globalization also adds to the challenges with pressure to adopt global education standards that are not always in line with the principles of Islamization. This research concludes that the success of the Islamization of knowledge in Islamic education in Southeast Asia is highly dependent on the ability to navigate different local and global political dynamics.
Ghazza Jaudat Fastmadhi, Nazwa Svenska Aulia Fastmadhi, Deddi Fasmadhy Satiadharmanto (Author)

https://ibicie.uinib.ac.id/index.php/ibicie/article/view/214

This study aims to explain the Integrated Islamic Science Workshop as an educational program of LSIPI Indonesia Family in overcoming the deadlock of knowledge that occurs in the Arab and the Western world in assisting Muslims and humanity in obtaining common and sustainable salvation from the threat of death and tragic destruction after COVID-19, Ukraine and Palestine War. This study uses the Historical Medical Science Method, the first integrated health science that successfully integrates religious science, cultural science, social science, economics, political science, law, ecological science, and other fields of science with health science to overcome the threat of death and tragic destruction in an integrated manner to obtain sustainable safety and happiness in the world and after death by using Applied Historical Science and TMT Action – Integrated Mental Therapy Actions or Integrated Spiritual Wellness Measures.

This study finds that the ongoing conflict between the Approach of Arab Centrism and the West Centrism in knowledge is the main cause of the knowledge deadlock in the world. This deadlock has weakened the ability of modern countries, Muslims and humanity to prevent and overcome crises, poverty, poverty, layoffs, criminality, conflict, war, disasters, chronic diseases, infectious diseases, mental disorders, disabilities, and suicidal ideation in an integrated manner. The conflict between these two approaches often trigger cases of tragic death and destruction among Arabs, Westerners, Jews, Muslims, and humanity. If the conflict between these two approaches do not find a "New Way" or "New Approach" as an appropriate and sustainable solution, Nuclear War and World War III are highly likely to occur and could end in an Early Apocalypse. This "New Way" or "New Approach" was discovered by LSIPI Indonesia Family through 22 years of independent research on Permanent Nervous Tension Disease in 1998, then developed into a case of mental disability, chronic neurological disorders, voice trauma, and bullying. The "Centrism Islamic Approach" is the appropriate and sustainable solution. The Centrism Islamic Approach has succeeded in helping modern countries, modern organizations, Muslims and humanity get out of the conflict between Arab Centrism and Western Centrism. This approach has succeeded in reconciling and uniting Arab Centrism and Western Centrism into a Healthy New Approach or a Healthy New Path for modern countries, organizations, Muslims, and humanity to achieve healing, common salvation, and sustainability. Integrated Islamic Science is the application and development of the "Centrism Islam Approach" in the academic field. The Family of LSIPI Indonesia has prepared the workshop and collaboration about integrated Islamic science as the academic way to get common and sustainable salvation. We have published a Book Package on Integrated Islamic Science to meet the need for reference. The workshop and collaboration about Integrated Islamic Science are very useful in overcoming crises, poverty, poverty, layoffs, creativity, conflicts, wars, disasters, chronic diseases, infectious diseases, mental disorders, disabilities, and suicidal ideation in an integrated manner. The main objectives of this workshop and cooperation are: First, to get continued safety from the threat of death and tragic destruction post-COVID-19, the Ukraine War, and the Palestinian War, as well as to assist modern states and international institutions in preventing Nuclear War and World War III. This first purpose is the implementation of Allah's command in Surah at Tahrim verse 6 and Surah al-Maidah verse 32. Second, to get Sustainable Happiness. This second goal is the implementation of the Continuous Happiness Prayer taught by Allah in Surah al Baqarah verse 201. This is a healthy and blessed academic way that makes it easier for Muslims and humanity to get the Luck of Sustainability on God's instructions that are straightforward and easy to understand by the rational brain. https://ibicie.uinib.ac.id/index.php/ibicie/article/view/217

This research was motivated by the desire to find out how character education influences the formation of discipline at this madrasah. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of character education on the formation of discipline learning. This research method is quantitative, the data source is taken from questionnaires and documentation for 31 students in class VII-5. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research. In this research the author uses a quantitative descriptive method which aims to determine the relationship between two variables. The data analysis technique goes through 4 stages, namely descriptive statistics, instrument testing, classical assumption testing and hypothesis testing. Based on the analysis, the result is a significance value (Sig) of 0.000, which is less than <0.05 probability, so it can be concluded that Ho is rejected based on the results of the questionnaire distribution and Ha is accepted based on the results of the questionnaire validation, so there is a significant influence between character education and the formation of discipline learning at MTsN 2 Pariaman City. Judging from the square of the correlation coefficient value or R, it is 0.512 x 0.512 = 0.507. The coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.507 or equal to 50.70%. This figure means that the character education variable (X) has an effect on discipline (Y) by 50.70%. Meanwhile, the remainder (100% - 50.70% = 49.30%) is influenced by other variables outside this regression equation or variables not examined in this study.
Andre Andhika Sabila, Buchari Nurdin, Andika Dirsa (Author)
