LEARNING MODEL OF KITAB KUNING (AL-KAWAKIB AL-DURRIYYAH) USING THE PQ4R STRATEGY AT ASHHABUL YAMIN BOARDING SCHOOL, LASI AGAM

21st-century learning demands active learning by applying various learning strategies, including the PQ4R strategy. This strategy can increase students' motivation and interest in studying the kitab kuning at Ashhabul Yamin, which was previously still low. This research aims to describe the kitab kuning learning model using the PQ4R strategy. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method using observation and interview data. The results of this research can be concluded that the steps in this kitab kuning learning with the PQ4R strategy model are: 1) students read quickly the text in the kitab kuning, 2) students ask questions from the texts they read, 3) students pay attention to the reading material available and read actively and understand the text with questions asked and answer these questions, 4) the teacher allows students to ask questions, understand and even discuss with other students in understanding the existing text, 5) students read and look again at the answers to questions that have been answered, teacher allows to students who are doubtful about the answers to the questions that have been made, 6) students reread the material as a whole then continue by making conclusions from what they have found.
