Abstract

Bullying occurred not only in education (formal, Islamic boarding school, and so on) but also in social media, which is cyberbullying. Cyberbullying has a strong psychological impact. Based on the data obtained, it is known that cyberbullying is relatively high among Indonesian people. It is a result of the progress and development of information technology. This article is intended to provide information on Islamic counseling guidance on the philosophy of "Huma Betang" as an antidote to cyberbullying. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with primary data sources from several national and international articles using the symbolic interactionism theory. (Mead). The findings in this paper show that Islamic counseling guidance that contains verses from the Al-Quran and Hadist is in line with the philosophical value of "Huma Betang," which means respect for each other and respect in everything, both in communicating and in interacting with others. Being able to empathize with everyone, regardless of status, gender, or even religion, creates an attitude of concern, mutual respect, and awareness of diversity. This creates a strong sense of togetherness and unity where the goal of life in society is peace, prosperity, and compassion.
