DEVELOPMENT OF INTERACTIVE PHYSICS E-MODULE BASED ON PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING ON THE CRITICAL THINKING ABILITY OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Abstract
This research aims to develop an interactive e-module based on Problem Based Learning to enhance students' critical thinking skills. This research is a development study (R&D) with stages of preliminary research, development prototype phase, and assessment stage. (assesment phase). The instruments used in this research are validity questionnaires, practicality assessments, and effectiveness tests. The validity test was conducted with 3 validators who assessed the suitability of the material, language, and construction. The practicality test was given to 1 physics educator and 27 students from Phase F of Physics Class 1 at SMAN 1 Kinali. The effectiveness test was administered to 27 students from Phase F of Physics Class 1 at SMAN 1 Kinali. The research results obtained show that the validity of the e-module has an average score of 84%, categorized as very valid. The practicality of the e-module has an average score of 90.71%, categorized as very practical. The effectiveness of the e-module has an average score of 87.54%, categorized as very effective. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the interactive physics e-module based on problem-based learning is suitable to be used as teaching material in high schools (SMA/MA) for enhancing students' critical thinking.
