THE ROLE OF THE TA’LIM AL-HIKMAH ASSEMBLY IN IMPROVING THE RELIGIOUS UNDERSTANDING OF THE COMMUNITY IN GUNUNG TULEH DISTRICT

Abstract

Education in Indonesia is formal, non-formal and informal. Each of them has the goal of  educating the nation's life and instilling values ​​that make humans have good morals. The ta'lim assembly is an informal institution that aims as a forum for da'wah and empowerment of Muslims. in the midst of society. Because the ta'lim assemblies are independent, flexible and time-limited. The purpose of this study is to produce critical analysis of the role of the al-Hikmah ta'lim assemblies in improving the religious understanding of the community in Gunung Tuleh sub-district. Hilanah in increasing religious understanding. And knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors of the al-Hikmah ta'lim assembly in improving the religious understanding of the community. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with field research methods. , articles and writings related to the issues discussed. The results showed that the role of the al-Hikmah ta’lim assembly in increasing the religious understanding of the community in the Gunung Tuleh sub-district was very large and influential. and friendly relations between fellow members. The forms of activity are practicing wirid yasin, khatam Qur'an, guidance on the management of corpses, barzanji religious lectures and others. Constraints faced are health conditions, age factors and household activities
