DEVELOPMENT OF PHYSICS E-MODULES BASED ON LOCAL WISDOM OF COFFEE PROCESSING FOR CRITICAL THINKING ABILITY CLASS XI SMA/MA STUDENTS

Abstract

Physics modules based on local wisdom can have a positive effect on the development of students' thinking skills. Adding coffee processing elements into the physics learning process. Researchers connect the local wisdom of coffee processing into physics concepts with the concept of local culture so that students can visualize the coffee processing process into physics material. Therefore, this study aims to determine the quality of local wisdom-based physics E-Modules towards students' critical thinking skills. The type of research used is research and development (Research and Development) with the Plomp method which consists of 3 stages, namely: preliminary research, prototype development, and assessment. The results of this study indicate that the Physics E-Module material based on local wisdom is very valid, very practical, and very effective. So it can be concluded that the Physics E-Module based on local wisdom towards the Critical Thinking Ability of Class XI SMA / MA Students with very valid, very practical and very effective criteria.
